After earning National Pokedex in Diamond and Pearl, player can also transfer Pokemon from the Game Boy Advance games to Diamond and Pearl with an insertion of a Game Boy Advance cartridge. After uploading six Pokemon from the cartridge, they are sent to the Pal Park, an area where the transferred Pokemon can be captured by the player.
