The plot of “Pokémon XD Lords of Shadow” is summarized in Team Rocket’s attempts to capture a legendary Pokémon, “Darklugia”, which is a Pokémon unlike any other ever seen, as it is a being of evil nature, it carries an incredible power, which if it falls into the wrong hands could bring great complications to this world. Throughout the game, not only legendary Pokémon will appear, but also members and leaders of Team Rocket, to get in the way. The game also features events in special regions, new quests and a special Pokémon trading center, which has a system that does not require another player to be connected.
